Why I'm Wishing for It:
I've recently heard a bit about this, and a lot of it is positive. That cover though, it just pulls you in. And then the synopsis sells the story to you, and you just have to add this to your TBR!

Why I'm Wishing for It:
This has been on my radar for a little while now. The blurb is just so cryptic. I know it has something to do with this teenage boy who is half white witch, half black witch - which is bad, because you don't want to be a black witch? Or do you just want to be completely a white witch or black witch? See - cryptic. I need to find more out about this, it's quite intriguing!

Why I'm Wishing for It:
I've been seeing this around a lot recently, which always sparks my curiosity. Plus it does also sound quite interesting. I simply have to check this out when it's released later this year.

I'm currently reading The Darkest Minds and absolutely loving it. It's only natural that I'm going to want the sequel!

Why I'm Wishing for It:
Doesn't this just sound crazy?!? High school girls performing exorcisms, its not something you come across every day. I'm a bit wary of this, since the last time I read a horror YA novel I was less than impressed. But, I'm willing to give this one a go if I can get my hands on it later this year.

I just heard about this one today, when I was reading through someone's Top Ten Tuesday post. It sounds really interesting, I can't say I've read something like this before, which is why I'm really interested in it.

Why I'm Wishing for It:
This was actually recommended to me a couple of years ago. I remember at the time thinking nothing of it because of the weird title and the fact that this friends book tastes were quite different to mine. It wasn't until a couple of days ago that this resurfaced for me, and recognising the title, I thought maybe I should take a squiz at the synopsis. And then BOOM. A girl shares her deepest darkest secret, one involving murder, with an inmate on death row. That sounds so interesting. I gotta learn to be less judgemental.

Why I'm Wishing for It:
I haven't even finished reading The Caster Chronicles yet, but I want to get my hands on this. Ridley and Link are by far two of my favourite characters in the series, so I know I'm going to enjoy reading a series dedicated just to the two of them. I just need this.

Why I'm Wishing for It:
First off, I love the title. Second, doesn't that synopsis sound weird and creepy. And it's so cryptic. Why is this girl held in a cell? Why are guns pointed at her constantly? Why does her teacher get sad when this little child talks about the future? There are just too many questions that need answers, so I'm going to have to read this.

This one sounds pretty interesting. I'm hoping it's a bit like The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, where it's all  bit weird and things are happening and we don't know why until we figure it out. And purely for that reason, this is on my TBR list.

Last week I'm pretty sure the sequel to this novel was featured on a Wishlist Wednesday, and I just have to feature Looking for JJ this week, because damn, I really want to read this again. I read this years and years ago, I think I might have been about 14 years old, and I remember loving it, but don't really remember the storyline. What with a sequel coming out, I really think I should read this one again.

Why I'm Wishing for It:
Just look at that cover. Doesn't that immediately pull you in? Plus the blurb sounds amazing, and it is a retelling of The Wizard of Oz, which I'm bound to love (forgetting about how I felt about Wicked). I definitely need to get this next year.

I've started to hear quite a bit about this one, and when a book starts popping up around you all the time, you can't help but become interested in it. If I saw this in a book store, I may pick it up because of the beautiful cover, but I don't know if the blurb would convince me to buy it. But, every time I hear about this it's always positive, so I'm curious enough to want to give it a go

Why I'm Wishing for It:
I love anything and everything to do with retellings. So when I saw this, a retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast, I simply had to add it to my wishlist. And the reviews I've seen around the blogosphere haven't been bad either, so I really want to read this in the not-too-distant future.

Why I'm Wishing for It:
Do I even need to explain why I want this one. I never cease to hear good things about this one. It seems like every couple of weeks this pops up somehow - I see someone raving about it at least once a month. This is just something I need to get my hands on post-Christmas.
